New Patients

When you’re looking for a new dentist, there are many questions you should ask.

Q: Do you take my insurance? Or, are you in-network with my insurance?

Some offices will tell you that yes, they “take” your insurance and will even file any claims on your behalf.  The question that really should be asked is “are you in-network with my insurance?” An in-network dental office will have negotiated lower fees with your insurance company and will provide quality care at a reduced cost.  Capstone Dental Downtown is in-network with the following insurances:

Delta Dental PPO, Aetna, Humana, Guardian, Anthem PPO, Metlife, Principal, Cigna, United Health Care, Dental Care Plus, and Superior.  Please check your insurance website for current status of in-network providers. If you do not see your insurance company, please give us a call to verify. We are always accepting new patients.

Q:  How much is this going to cost?

As stated above, because we are in-network with many PPO dental insurance plans, the answer might surprise you. Most initial visits for patients with dental insurance are covered at 100%.

If you don’t have dental insurance, no problem. You can still come see us!  To make it easier, we’d like to extend a New Patient Special. For $99 you will receive a full series of digital x-rays, a comprehensive exam from our skilled dentist, and a cleaning from one of our gentle hygienists. If you need any treatment, like a filling or a deep cleaning, all finances will be discussed before we ever begin treatment. No surprises. Just mention code CDD99 when you call.

Q: Where is your office located?

Our office is on the 4th floor of the Broad & High Building in the heart of downtown Columbus. Our lobby entrance is between Tim Hortons and Edible Arrangements. Please take the elevator to the 4th floor and follow the hallway to our front door.  Check out this Google Map link for more info.

Q:  Where do I park?

Our office is very convenient for patients who are familiar with downtown. For those driving and looking for parking, it can get a little frustrating. There are one-way streets, no turn signs at certain intersections, pedestrians, etc. We recommend parking at a meter, at a nearby parking garage, or in a surface lot. We attempt to make up for the difficulty with parking by streamlining our appointments. Our routine appointments such as cleanings and fillings are usually completed in under an hour. Also, we have invested in technology, like our cerec one visit crown system to cut down on multiple visits.
